1. Compliance Basics
• Correct product name and legal description
• Ingredient list in descending order by weight
• Allergen declarations clear and compliant
• Country of origin statement accurate for market
• All mandatory regulatory statements included


2. Nutrition Information Panel

• Correct format for intended market (AU / NZ / Export)

• Values checked and approved by regulatory or QA

• Serving size consistent with claims

• Legible at final printed pack size


3. Claims & Front-of-Pack
Claims substantiated and approved

Clear hierarchy between brand, product and claims
No visual clutter or over-claiming
Claims aligned with brand and regulatory position

4. Barcodes & Legal
• GS1 barcode correct, current and scannable
• Quiet zones respected
• Barcode positioned away from curves, seams and folds

• Legal text legible at final size


5. Production Readiness
Correct and final dieline supplied
Bleeds and safe areas applied - PMS / CMYK colour modes defined
White ink layers supplied if required

File naming and version control clear


6. Common Issues That Cause Rework
Nutrition panels added too late
